On a rainy, freezing September afternoon, I loaded my car with these hair masks that I made during the lockdown and along with my family headed to the beautiful Port Waikato. On arrival, we shot this wee project with my mate, photographer Mark Hamilton.
The hair pieces suited the dark, blustery mood of the sandy dunes and the gloomy feel of the dark clouds above.
My youngest son Danny bravely endured the cold and modelled these masks. After the photoshoot, Tracey asked if he was cold and he replied, “Yes but I just wanted to get the job done.”
Respect.
