Director and salon founder Jamie Dryden.
Jamie has been hairdressing since 1995. He started his craft in his hometown of Edinburgh Scotland.
Jamie never intended to become a hairdresser, instead citing footballer or architect as his preferred option, but somehow found himself working with a family friend in Edinburgh’s plush New Town at the tender age of 16.
He has plied his craft ever since.
Working in top salons in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Auckland Jamie moved to Hamilton where he opened Fabrik in Victoria Street in 2007.
The experience gained from working with the best hairdressers the world has to offer set him on the right pathway, enabling him to successfully navigate Fabrik to what it is today.
Jamie is a wonderful precision cutter and expert colourist. He especially excels in cutting short hair as he loves the personality that comes out in the individual. Something that is only possible when you cut your hair short.
Jamie is the brains behind most of Fabrik’s creative imagery and he is constantly thinking and working on new ideas from his workspace at home.
Jamie is the father of four amazing children and married to his beautiful wife Tracey.
In his spare time, you will find Jamie training at Fight Fit Boxing on Bandon Street Frankton where he has been a member for years, playing football, writing and performing music or watching his kids excel in sport. He also loves the sport of kings.
